Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This year Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. As most of you know, I recently lost my Father who had dementia. Its a nasty vile disease that takes away memories and steals dignity. If we can help raise money to go towards research or better facilities for dementia sufferers then at least the future generations may not have to see their loved ones suffer!"
